The quarter is almost over at SCAD. Andrew and I are approaching finals and the work is piling up. But here are some concept sketches for a story I'm working on.

Welcome to Subterranean Comics! Subterranean Comics is a mini-comic anthology operated by Andrew Greenstone and myself, Alexander Bullett. We've finally got our blog up and running. We intend to post news and art on a regular basis.

Today I'm posting some of my sketchbook work. My weapons of choice are the Pentel brush pens, Kuretake waterbrushes (a round and a flat,) mechanical pencil and a Staedtler pigment liner 0.3.

I like to sketch big. It's more fun that way.
